David and Renee Sanford are the authors of the
Living Faith Bible. They enjoy specialty and
study Bibles and wrote the notes in the Living
Faith Bible to prompt readers to immediately
seek to affirm and apply each truth, command,
and example in Scripture. David and Renee took
particular care to ensure that the notes would
be useful and thought-provoking for all age
groups and hope that the notes will speak
directly to reader's hearts regardless of age.
David and Renee are contributing
authors to several books, including God's
Abundance and Lists to Live By.
David is the
co-author of Calling America and the Nations to Christ (with Luis Palau) and God Is Relevant
(the first evangelistic title published by the
major secular publisher Doubleday since Mere
Christianity by C.S. Lewis). Renee is the
author of dozens of articles for a wide range of
Christian and mainstream magazines.
Both graduates of Multnomah Bible
College in Portland, Oregon, David earned his
B.S. in Religious Education in 1982 and Renee
her B.S. in Biblical Education in 1995. David
has served as an adjunct professor of Journalism
at Western Baptist College in Salem, Oregon, and
currently holds the position of vice president
of publishing and Internet ministries for the
Luis Palau Evangelistic Association. Renee is a
full-time mom and part-time Christian author.
The Sanfords make their home in Portland,
Oregon, and attend the Spring Mountain Bible
Church. They enjoy travel, sports, reading,
theatre, music, and delight in their role as
parents to their four children.
