Christ in the Carols is a gift book that
introduces readers to the stories behind
Christmas carols as well as the inspiring
messages of their lyrics. Authors Christopher
and Melodie Lane have gathered old favorites
like "Silent Night" and "Joy to the World," along
with lesser known carols such as "Thou Didst
Leave Thy Throne," to create a devotional that
can be read daily in December or in the days
leading up to Christmas.
Christopher Lane has written twenty books,
including seven novels and a series for children
that won the Gold Medallion and the C.S. Lewis
Award. He and his wife, Melodie, have co-authored two books. The Lanes live in Colorado with their three children.
