Angela Benson's favorite books are romances and
mysteries. She is the best-selling author of
ten books, including For All Time, A Family
Wedding, The Way Home, Second Chance Dad, and
The Nicest Guy in America. Her Genesis House series is the first HeartQuest series to feature African-American heroes and heroines.
The Genesis House series was written for
Christian women and teenage girls. While it can
be read as personal and leisure reading, the
subject matter lends itself to small group
discussions of the challenges facing today's
Christian women and teenagers as they seek to
follow God's will in their relationships. The
Genesis House books are about repentance,
forgiveness, and second chances and are a
practical series for Christians to pass along to
the non-Christians in their lives.
Angela Benson holds bachelor's degrees
in Math and Industrial Engineering, Master's
degrees in Operations Research, and Human
Resources Development, and a Ph.D. in
Instructional Technology. She enjoys exploring
the educational applications of technology in
education and participating in community service
activities through her church.
